A super wine, this Mencia Joven is deliciously smooth with savoury notes on the palate alongside dark fruit flavours and a hint of liquorice. Wonderful, complex and excellent value.

On the nose there are intense aromas of black raspberry and cherry, with hints of smoke and mineral notes. The palate of this wine starts of with youthful notes of strawberry and plum which progress into fleshier and richer offerings of sweet red and dark berry flavours with hint of chocolate and herbs.

The wine displays complex, red berry aromas with smoky vanilla notes. On the palate, there's round, warm and juicy spiced red cherry fruit with a velvety character, and ripe tannins are apparent as a firm but pliant structure. The wine has firm tannins and balanced acidity.

Gran Cerdo is all about the purest expression of fruit with whole bunch fermentation, no filtration, no stabilization and minimal sulphur. This organic wine has real character, all the juicy elements of Tempranillo, with no dirty oak to mask its charm. It has a natural way about it but with no funkiness. With its cherry-red, purplish, brilliant colour Gran Cerdo reveals primary notes of fresh fruit, strawberries, raspberries, cherries and violets with clean mineral tones from the granite. This little natural wine is phenomenal value.

A wonderful red wine from Bierzo, in the northwest of Spain. Made from 100% Mencia sourced from 80-year-old vines. Raul Perez, who now runs the winery, is a figurehead for Bierzo wines in Spain, renowned for making some of the best wines in the world and considered a bit of superstar in Spanish winemaking circles. Deep purple in colour with a nose of raspberries, cherries, mineral and floral notes. Medium-full in body with a soft palate, the wine offers complex flavors of red berries, cherries and spice. It was aged for just over a year in French oak barriques. The wine has a smooth, lengthy finish.

This delicious red from the Jumilla region is organically and biodynamically grown. 100% Monastrell, it shows the purity and freshness of this Mediterranean varietal, and is not a wine that is too high in alcohol or heavy. Aged in French oak barrels for seven months, it is an easy drinking wine with lots of fruit on the nose with hints of undergrowth. Solid character and depth. It will continue to evolve in the bottle over the next three years.

100% Verdejo from a certified organic estate in Rueda. Bodegas Menade specialise in natural winemaking and there is no sulphur added to this tasty white. Pale yellow with green hints, this Spanish white is clean and bright, is medium in body and full of green fruit and honey flavours. An interesting wine, it's definitely one to try.

Made from 100% Garnacha, this wine is light and fresh, light years from classic concentrated style. Muscular and ambitious, extremely sophisticated. Lots of sweet juice, but not heavy. A well-balanced great wine!

Dark cherry in colour with a high intensity and ripe black fruit, balsamic, toast and floral notes on the palate. Good acidity with a long, persistent finish.

This wine offers good balace, wonderful freshness and sweet tannins. Notes of charcoal and chocolate hit the mouth followed by mushroom and liquorice. It ends with a deep lingering finish.

This is a complex Albarino from vineyards by the ocean which brings a salty, briny minerality to the wine. There are ripe fruits on the palate with a leesy texture. A delicious, fresh wine!
