Description
12 Volts is made from native varieties of Mallorca such as Callet and Fogoneu with 20% Syrah, 10% Cabernet and 10% Merlot. This is a medium to full bodied wine, warm, spicy and very elegant, with notes of summer fruits and liquorice. The grapes come from vineyards that are grown following a minimal interventionist method of winemaking. All the grapes are harvested manually. Once in the winery, maceration and fermentation are carried out in stainless steel tanks, further adding to the freshness of the wine. The last step is ageing 12 Volts for 9 months in 3000 litre barrels with the 2nd year and 3rd year spent in French oak barrels of 225 litres.
