Cuvee Maurin is 100% Malbec, hand-harvested and aged in concrete tanks; with dark fruits and hints of pepper and licorice on the nose and palate, the wine has a good balance of acidity, tannin, and complexity.
Founded in 1972 by Andre and Sylvie Beranger, Domaine La Berangeraie is today regarded as one of the top ten producers in Cahors. It is now run by second generation Maurin Beranger and his wife Marlene, who converted the 85-acre property to organic in 2011.
