Description
Founded in 1860, and handed over from father to son, this excellent Domaine produces age-worthy wines that reach their peak after 6 or 7 years, in an authentic, traditional Châteauneuf du Pape fashion. Nicolas Boiron, representing the 5th generation, is now in charge, his 27-ha vineyards consists of 40 parcels in the CNDP appellation, and the average age of the vines is 50 years. A 3.5-ha plot, with vines over 100 years old is used to produce top cuvée “Chante le Merle” One of the most brilliant producers of Châteauneuf du Pape, with an impressive record of consistency and high quality dating back well over 30 years
