A single vineyard wine made from old vine Bonicaire. Remarkably fresh with red and blue fruit, liquorice and spice. This is a wine with a lot of energy that would appeal to lovers of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir.

Description
Meaning the ‘House of Leandro’ this is a fantastic little operation we visited close to Ontinyent in October 2019. Headed up by Gabriel Sanchis the winery is named after his grandfather who originally owned and planted his vineyards which became somewhat neglected in the 1950’s and 1960’s as people left the land to work in the local burgeoning textile industry. Gabriel (in his late twenties) has taken up the reigns and is making incredibly lively and authentic low intervention wines based on rare local grape varieties like Merseguera and Bonicaire.
