Didier Desvignes Domaine is one of the great producers of the region, located in the the Beaujolais appellation of Morgon. The Desvignes have been making wine in the region for 100 years and Didier began helping his father at the age of 11. In 1981 he purchased a few hectares of land in Saint-Joseph and began to make his own wines. He now owns 20 ha in the Beaujolais Cru’s of Morgon, Fleurie, Moulin a Vent, Chiroubles and Brouilly.
Didier Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau is made to the same high standards of his other wines, made without SO2, expect trademark direct fruitiness and liveliness.
