Located in the province of Ogliastra, in central Sardinia, the terrain in the region varies from pebbly beaches along the coast to the towering Gennargentu mountain range in the interior. Pusole’s vineyards benefit from cooling air from both directions, providing freshness in the hot Mediterranean summers. A rich, slightly nutty style, this Vermentino is a radical departure from the cold-fermented, sauvignon blanc-lookalike churned out elsewhere across Sardinia.
