  • Teeling Revival 15 year old 4th Edition Muscat Cask
    Dublin, Ireland
Irish Whiskey of the Year - 2017 Irish Whiskey Awards The Teeling Family have been making whiskey since 1782 in their distillery on Marrowbone Lane in the Liberties, Dublin. A superb release in the hugely popular Revival series from Teeling, and winner of the top accolade at the 2017 Irish Whiskey Awards. The fourth bottling of this series consists of 15-Year-Old Single Malt that was aged initially in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished for over 12 months in unique Muscat Port barrels that impart very distinct hints of citrus, rose petal and ripe peach. Limited to just 10,000 bottles, the resulting Single Malt is then bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, a signature of all Teeling Whiskeys. The Revival Vol. IV joins Teeling Whiskey’s range of award winning Irish whiskeys which have collected over 110 international awards throughout the past four years. The maturation from the ex-Muscat Port casks creates a unique palette pleasing taste profile; ripe fruits and rich spices intermingle with creamy vanilla to give a wonderfully dry, woody finish. A signature aroma of ripe peach, pineapple and satsuma mandarin tops off the dry dark chocolate undertones of this limited edition Single Malt.

  • Midleton Very Rare, 2016
    Cork, Ireland

Midleton Very rare was first released in 1984. Only 50 casks are released each year which makes them very collectible, especially older and harder to find vintages. Nose: Wonderful aromas of tropical fruits, sweet shops, candy floss, ginger snaps, toasty oak, vanilla, fresh oranges and apples.

Palate: Smooth and soft showing some delicate pot still character. Honey, beeswax and floral notes to begin, followed by gently spicy notes of ground ginger, vanilla, oak, and even some old engine oil notes which are reminiscent of classic old pot still whiskeys.
