The twenty-eighth release of Midleton Very Rare, still under the expert care of Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. His 3rd last edition. Midleton Very Rare (MVR) is aged between 12 and 25 years in Bourbon casks. Rare and highly collectable, this whiskey has won many awards and received industry accolades keeping the Midleton name revered. The 2011 release reveals aromas of rich flinty pot spices, bitter almonds, green apples and a touch of citrus. The palate carries some honey sweetness, vanilla and notes of barley grains.
