1999 Chateau Destieux, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Destieux is an 8-hectare domain located at the second-highest point of Saint-Emilion. From the top of its plateau, it overlooks the whole vineyard. The domain is owned by the Dauriac family. Advised by Michel Rolland, it is a very interesting Saint-Emilion, especially in great vintages like 1999.

Still very strongly-colored, full-bodied, and tannic, these wines offer an elegant structure and develop very rich, fruity aromas. They have a good potential to improve with age.
