    The Famille Perrin Luberon White is a Southern Rhone white wine blend consisting of 30% Bourboulenc , 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Ugni Blanc and 10% Roussanne. Famille Perrin is one of the most recognisable names in the Southern Rhône. The fifth and sixth generations of the family now manage the extensive vineyard holdings and grower partnerships which stretch across the region, from Vinsobres to the Ventoux. This wine has delicate notes of white flowers and citrus fruit on the nose. The palate is well-balanced with racy acidity perfectly complimenting the stone fruit and saline flavours, which linger on the finish.

    Turner Pageot Le Blanc is a blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% Marsanne. It is fermented like a red wine with the skins and stalks. This makes for a bitter and tannic white. Marsanne is not normally a very aromatic varietal, but this process brings out strong aromas. The final result is surprising. It’s medium to full-bodied with Citrus, bread dough, and white flowers and more vibrant than many Roussanne/Marsanne blends.

Starts off fresh and floral with bright apple and grape notes before finishing with a lick of spice and butter. A delicious wine but really needs decanting to show its best.
