  • Astoria Caranto Pinot Noir delle Venezie
    Veneto, Italy
    100%Pinot Noir
Grown on the flat and hilly (at 150-200 m. above sea level) areas of the North-Eastern regions of Italy. Vineyards: 4,000/5,500 grapevines per hectare (average age: 10 - 15 years). The grapes are harvested by hand in September and are de-stemmed and crushed. The crushed grapes undergo fermentation /maceration, which lasts 5/6 days at a temperature of 24/25° C; then the wine is drawn from the marc and undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Then it is cleared and stabilized and is allowed to age a couple of months after bottling. Astoria "Caranto" Pinot Noir is ruby red in color with pleasant aromas of strawberry and raspberry. This wine presents intense fruit flavor with a soft round lingering finish.

  • Jean-Claude Boisset Pinot Noir, Les Ursulines
    Burgundy, France
    100% Pinot Noir
The fruit for this wine comes from old vines, mostly from the Côte de Nuits, which ensures that the quality of the blend is far higher than that of a standard Bourgogne. The vineyard management here is stringent and uses specific techniques to control yields, guaranteeing a good concentration of flavours in the grapes. These techniques include de-budding, cluster thinning, little or no use of fertiliser and environmentally-friendly vine protection. Bright ruby red in color with pronounced aromas of wild strawberry and raspberry with hints of black pepper. On the palate, flavors of juicy red fruits and sweet spice are well-balanced with bright, lifted acidity and round, silky tannins. An excellent value Red Burgundy.

    Burgundy, France
    100% Pinot Noir
Born and bred in Marsannay you’d think that Sylvain Pataille would have had wine in his veins. He is not from a winemaking family however, and went to wine school in Beaune from the age of 14. Vineyard holdings are managed according to organic and biodynamic principles and when replanting is necessary is is undertaken via massale selection with cuttings from some of the most outstanding producers in Burgundy. In the winery SO2 is used to a minimum, and oak is more of a vessel than a flavouring, aiding the elevage.
