  1. Château Raymond Lafon, Sauternes 1999 37.5cl

    This delicious dessert wine displays aromas of baked apples, luscious tropical fruits and orange marmalade. The palate is rich and concentrated with perfectly balanced acidity preventing it from being too sweet.
  2. Domaine de Monspey, Moulin a Vent

    Dark ruby colour. Partially aged in oak giving complexity and spice to the ripe cherry fruit flavours and aroma. The palate is followed by powerful but silky tannins.
  3. 2013 Chateau Batailley Grand Cru, Pauillac

    A classic Pauillac, with an abundance of black currant fruit with hints of toast and chocolate. full-bodied, dense and will certainly last for ywo decades
  4. Echo de Lynch Bages 2016

    Dark ruby in colour, Echo de Lynch-Bages 2015 offers a sweet nose of red fruits, plums and a touch of jam with some creamy vanilla oak. A good example of Pauillac with silky mouthfeel leading to a structured finish.
  5. Château Langoa Barton, Saint-Julien 2009

    A blend of 77.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 7.5% Cabernet Franc. This has a ripe blackberry, violet tinged nose that is perhaps lacking the clarity and vigour that it often shows at this stage. A touch of seashells become apparent in the glass. The palate is full-bodied, quite sinewy comparative to other Saint Juliens with good concentration and purity of fruit with no signs of under-ripeness. The Langoa 2009 has a persistent finish with good depth and focus with blackberry and cedar to the fore. Very fine, as usual.
  6. Chateau Lyonnat

    Deep ruby colour. Nose of spice cake, liquorice and red fruit. The palate is powerful and smooth, with very elegant and blended tannins.
  7. Alter Ego de Palmer 2016

    Aromas of blackberries, cassis, chocolate, roasted espresso and a smoky/foresty note. This hedonistic, juicy succulent Margaux is best consumed in its first 10-15 years of life.
  8. 2004 Chateau Potensac, Medoc 1.5L

    Complex and rich Médoc with plenty of blackcurrant, cassis fruit on the nose and the palate. Good purity and concentration of flavour with a medium to full - bodied mouthfeel.
  9. Bourgogne Regnaudot Pinot Noir

    Juicy black cherries and red berries great the nose. The palate is medium, restrained and well structured with dry, savoury finish. A classic Bourgogne.
  10. Givry Champ Nalot Rouge

    A great Pinot Noir! Very expressive nose of dark cherry, plum and red berries. The palate is light, yet fruit driven with plenty of strawberry and liquorice.
  11. Foncalieu Or du Sud Cabernet Sauvignon, Languedoc

    Well balanced cabernet sauvignon full of blackberries, blackcurrants, and a touch of spice.
  12. Bernard Reverdy Sancerre Rouge, Loire

    Made from the Pinot Noir, is delightfully fruity and delicate. A short pre-fermentation maceration, followed by a thermo-regulated fermentation in vat, gives it its elegant red berry and black fruits aromas with well rounded tannins and supple structure. A year's ageing in "demi-muid" (600 litres) barrels contributes to this wine's smoothness when it comes to drinking time.

    Impressively perfumed nose offers a suave bouquet of red berries, garrigue, anise and fruit cake. Opulent, sweet, expansive and mouth-filling, the lush red berry fruit builds in intensity before coating the entire palate. These flavours are enlivened by baking spices, herbs and gentle tannins.
  14. Yves Cuilleron Cote Rotie Madiniere, Rhone

    Bright ruby in colour with beautifully aromatic nose of fresh red berries and flowers (thanks to 10% of Viognier added to the blend). The palete is velvety smooth with a touch of liquorice and subtle earthiness.
  15. Cuilleron Saint joseph

    A fresh, precise, fruity nose. Subtle and taut on the palate, and bursting with lovely fruit. Mild, subtle tannins.
  16. Bosquet des Papes Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Rhone

    Purple red in colour with some shiny highlights. On the nose, this Châteauneuf du Pape displays aromas of small red berries. It has a sweeping silky smooth mouth feel, a classic southern Rhône spicyness of ground pepper, garrigue, cherry liqueur, plums, and cedar with sweet, expansive, and pure fruit flavours and excellent delineation.

    This is a fantastic and complex Corbieres expressing notes of blackberry, pepper, leather, tobacco, and blackcurrants.

    Pretty dark garnet colour. The nose is complex and powerful. Full-bodied with well expressed tannins. Ripe red fruit with notes of cherrie. Nice balance, concentration and length

    Powerful nose, ripe red berries with aromas of roasted coffee, spice and cherry. Plenty of length, ripe fruits and structure.
  20. Foncalieu Illustres

    Deep red colour with a dark purple shade. Nose of black berry fruit with tapenade (olive and anchovy paste); a touch of balsam introduces superb complexity and a light, elegant freshness. Soft and elegant mouth, the palate develops aromas of violets and plums with a delicate note of balsam. A wine which is long and refined, powerful and complex with soft, velvety tannins.
