Chateauneuf-du Pape La Bernardine is part of the Chapoutier family tradition since 1808. The vinification of the three grapes, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, is carried out in the traditional way in concrete tanks following fermentation of three weeks on a high temperature to make sure that both tannin and colour are well expressed and enhanced.
A complex, yet subtle nose with flavours of plum, cherry, roasted coffee and cinnamon. The palate opens up with spicy liquorice and an abundance of fruity notes.
