Description

ISOLE e OLENA is located on the western slope of the Chianti Classico hills half way between Florence and Siena at an altitude of 350-490 m. All the wines are estate wines produced only from the grapes grown on the estate’s 56 hectars of vineyards, owned by the De Marchi family since 1956 and managed by Paolo De Marchi since 1976. In the past 40 years the vineyards have gone through an extensive replanting project placing Isole e Olena in the small group of estates leading the Chianti renaissance.
