Producer
On 81 hectares in Pauillac, Pontet Canet can trace its origins back to 1725. Owned by the Tesseron family, they have vastly improved the quality of Pontet Canet wines which are now full-bodied and packed with ripe, chewy, black fruits and finely integrated tannins. 5th Growth
Tasting Note
One of the star performers of the 1994 vintage, what was a powerful wine in its youth, is now soft and full of tertiary character. The once purple-colored hue now gives way to a bricky red hue.
