On the nose there are intense aromas of black raspberry and cherry, with hints of smoke and mineral notes. The palate of this wine starts of with youthful notes of strawberry and plum which progress into fleshier and richer offerings of sweet red and dark berry flavours with hint of chocolate and herbs.

Description
Clos Lojen is a red wine from the D.O. Manchuela made by Bodega y Viñedos Ponce.
This wine is made with grapes of the Bobal variety from different vineyards owned by the winery, over 30 years old and grown in clayey, calcareous soil.
Clos Lojen can be enjoyed now or kept for some years. The fermentation was spurred by local yeasts. It aged for 7 months in French oak barrels.
