This mash-up of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Pinot and Roussanne. This sounds like it shouldn't work but it is a revelation. Pinot-esque in terms of weight, it is amazingly fresh and packed with fruit, but with an immensely satisfying savouriness on the finish.

BLANKBottle makes a range of wines changing from year to year depending on what critically-acclaimed winemaker Pieter H. Walser finds on his explorations through SA vineyards.
Walser's operation is unusual because he owns no vineyards and rarely makes the same wine twice. He only works with small batches, buying grapes from around 60 vineyards all over the Western Cape.
