Full-bodied and a rich palate with creamy tannins , showing complex fruit notes of cherries, plums and blackberries, underlying vanilla, spice, cedar and cigar box.

The vines of Château Capet Guillier are located in the southern part of Saint Emilion, and enjoy ideal exposure, on Fronsac molasse stone, with its active limestone and self-draining slopes.
Château Tour de Capet enjoys sandy-silt soil: this is an absolute godsend for winegrowers, as it is so easy to manage. Merlot and Malbec have their work cut out for themselves on a soil which is both low in organic matter and subject to water constraints… and where the grapes mature early!
