Grapes
Tinto Fino. Region: Ribera del Duero, Spain.
Tasting Notes
This wine is silky, voluptuous and jammy, ripe and generous without being too much. The grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak vats, and the wine matured in new and second use French barriques for 12 to 14 months. It's quite ripe and powerful yet balanced and with great freshness. The palate is medium to full-bodied with lots of fruit, juicy and showy, modern without excess. Drink now - 2030

Description
Grapes Tinto Fino. Region: Ribera del Duero, Spain. Producer Many consider Vega Sicilia to be one of Spain’s ‘First Growths;’ and responsible for the illustrious reputation of the Ribera Del Duero. It was founded in 1864 by Don Eloy Lecanda y Chaves, who arrived from Bordeaux with cuttings of local grapes (Cab. Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec) and planted them, together with Spain's signature grape Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) in Ribera del Duero.
