Château d'Issan is a winery in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Troisièmes Crus (Third Growths) in the historic Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. The winery is under the proprietorship of Emmanuel Cruse II of the Cruse family.

Description
The 2014 Chateau d'Issan is unique, recognizable thanks to its terroir. In this vintage Cabernet Sauvignon is particularly appreciated for its aromatic and gustatory outline. An unexpected and very long Indian summer allowed a slowly ripeness. The 2014 Issan is 77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot. The wine is original thanks to a deep, black fruit aromatic aspect with intense freshness. The palate enjoys solid balance on sophisticated, creamy and elegantly silky tannins. On the fruit, the finish fills the palate with the freshness from Cabernet. This wine is a great Troisième Cru Classé from Margaux.You might like these as well
