Nose: Tropical fruits and wood notes.
Taste: Light and fresh, well balanced sweetness blends into notes of vanilla, sandalwood, all spice and orchard fruits.
Finish: Deep and inviting as the spice comes back then goes away again. With age comes grace and this whiskey can prove it.
The 30-year old single malt was distilled in 1987 and initially matured in ex-bourbon asks for 25 years before being given an additional 5 years maturation in ex-white Burgundy oak casks. Each of the 500 bottles were hand bottled in unique decanter bottles an come in a wooden gift box with their own certificate of authenticity.
Jack Teeling, Founder of Teeling Whiskey, commented: "This very limited release of 30 year-old Irish single malt is a one of a kind, due to the French white wine influence that transforms this whiskey into something truly special. There is nothing else like this on the market."
Only 500 bottles released.
