Trediberri Barolo

Trediberri Barolo

A very elegant wine. On the nose, menthol aromas lie alongside earthy tones and black cherry. Medium in body with lots of red fruit and berries on the palate. Mice minerality.

"The nose is pure, with young dark flowers, fresh cut stems, green herbs, tilled earth and black cherry. The palate is more fruit-driven and bold, with flavors of savory red berries, fennel, and a core of iron-laced minerality. The wine develops over time, with a tannic structure that loosens into a soft richness. Pair with meals of dark meat, simply prepared veggies, and hard cheeses." David Hatzopoulos

Berri is a small hamlet in the westernmost part of La Morra, located in the Langhe hills of Piemonte, close to the Tanaro river. It lies at the extreme western edge of the Barolo region. Here, in 2007, Nicola, his father Federico and their friend Vladimiro, acquired 5 hectares circa (12.5 acres) exclusively for the production of Barolo. The Trediberri winery was born.
