Saint-Romain from Roisin Curley shows aromas of dairy products followed by citrus and minerality. Fresh, clean and precise attack with refined notes of cream, almonds and citrus. Very long and savoury finish.
Roisin is a pharmacist working in Ballyhaunis in Co Mayo. She is one of the very few Masters of Wine in Ireland and got a Masters in viticulture in Montpellier. She also worked in Chateau Latour for one vintage studying the impact of organic viticulture. She work with growers who follow sustainable viticultural practices on biodiversity and organic farming. Her wines are highly rated and sought after.
