  5. 2021 Writers Tears Cask Strength Pot Still Irish

    Now very hard to find. This 2021 edition of Writers Tears was bottled at natural cask strength as part of their limited yearly run. Just 6000 bottles where made of this release. Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2021 is a triple-distilled blend of aged Single Pot Still and Single Malt Whiskey from casks of the finest selected distillates. It is non chill-filtered at 53% ABV and carefully aged in bourbon barrels. Bernard Walsh. Introducing the 2021 vintage of Writers’ Tears Cask Strength, Bernard Walsh described this very limited release as follows: “To me it presents elegant and luscious notes of poached pear, sweet barley and creamy oak. It offers the palate hints of white chocolate and red fruit and, to finish the experience, we get delicate mandarin tones with oak powering through single pot still spice. I am proud to commend it to old and new followers of Writers’ Tear alike.”
  6. Teeling Brabazon Vol 1 Single Malt Irish Whiskey

    Brabazon Volume 1 focuses on sherry cask maturation and consists of a range of carefully selected sherry cask aged whiskeys producing a full flavoured sherry influenced Irish Single Malt. This bottling consists of a vatting of 6 different sherry casks, carefully chosen for their complementary character. Brabazon is named after Lord Brabazon the 3rd Earl of Meath who was responsible for the development of the Newmarket Square area where the Teeling brothers built their new distillery. The historic Liberties area would become the centre of distilling and brewing in Dublin from the 17th to early 20th century. That tradition has returned with the possibility of at least four distilleries operating in the Liberties in the near future.
  7. Teeling Renaissance No 3 18 Yo Muscat Finish

    The third release in the hugely popular Renaissance Series from Teeling. This has been aged for a total of 18 years with a final finishing period in Muscat wine casks. Offering a different style to the previous releases this is very much in the tropical fruit spectrum with mango, pineapple and citrus to the fore and even a touch of mint and pear drops. A lively and more-ish single malt that is best served straight in a good nosing glass where the vibrant aromas can be savoured. Limited to just 9000 bottles and bottled at 46%.
  8. Athru Annacoona 14 Yo Single Malt Irish Whiskey

    An exceptional 14 year old single malt that has been matured in the finest Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry casks, resonant with Autumnal aromas and rich silky sweetness. This whiskey marks the first limited edition release from the Lough Gill Distillery, Sligo, West of Ireland and was crafted by Billy Walker, World Distiller of the Year 2015
  9. Waterford Series Ballykilcavan 1.1 Irish Whiskey

    The first release from Ballykilcavan was distilled from barely grown by David Walsh-Kemmis in the Irish barley heartlands to the west of The Barrow in Co. Laois. His fertile fields are sheltered by ancient woodland on some of the best soil in the region. For maturation 45% of the casks were first-fill American oak, 28% were French oak and 27% of the casks were previously used to age vin doux naturel (fortified wines). A light hay and very oily appearance. Berries with fresh foliage, redcurrants and grapes first welcome the nose with a vibrant, freshly cut grass aroma. Cooked bananas with brown sugar and plenty of heat greet the palate with mulled wine and cinnamon coming through. A dry, oily lasting finish. Only 8640 bottles have been produced, with only 1500 available in the UK.

Proudly utilising 100% demonstrably Irish-grown barley from one farm, one terroir, at a time, Waterford Ballymorgan makes use of barley grown by Robert Milne on one of Ireland’s premier malting barley terroirs - the famous Clonroche Series in Co. Wexford, with its loamy, clay soils derived from slate and granite. Limited Stock available. Bottled at 50% ABV without colouring, chill-filtration or any additives.
  11. Waterford Series Bannow Island 1.2 Irish Whiskey

    Proudly utilising 100% demonstrably Irish-grown barley from one farm, one terroir, at a time, Bannow Island: Edition 1.2 - the second release, was grown by Ed Harpur on the extreme southern coast of Co. Wexford, where salt-laden Atlantic winds and sandy soils create a unique, if challenging, terroir. Bottled at 50% ABV without colouring, chill-filtration or any additives.
  12. Waterford Series Bannow Island 1.1 Irish Whiskey

    Proudly utilising 100% demonstrably Irish-grown barley from one farm, one terroir, at a time, Distilled from barley grown by Ed Harpur on the extreme southern coast of Co. Wexford, where salt-laden Atlantic winds and sandy soils create a unique, if challenging, terroir. Harpur has been supplying barley for Waterford Distillery since 2015 and was part of the “first 40” who took up the challenge of being a Waterford grower. This single malt ‘whisky’ is bottled at 50% ABV without colouring, chill-filtration or any additives – totally natural – and is of Single Farm
  13. Jameson Bow Street 18 Yo Cask Strength Irish

    A great addition to the Jameson range of whiskeys. This is created using three distillates and is aged in both sherry and bourbon barrels before being sent to Bow St in Dublin for a final finishing of at least 6 months in fresh Bourbon barrels. This comes in a very impressive laser etched oak box.
  14. Jameson 18 Year Old Blended Irish Whiskey

    A revamped version of the Jameson 18 Year Old. Unlike the old Limited Reserve his time there is no Port wood ageing and the components are aged in both ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks before being finished off in first fill ex-Bourbon barrels.
  15. Waterford Series Sheestown 1.1 Irish Whiskey

    Sheestown Edition 1.1 was distilled in 2016 from Irina barley grown by Phillip O’Brien just outside Kilkenny. The lushness of this verdant land can be tasted in the whisky, which was matured in a combination of first-fill American oak, French oak and ex-Vin Doux Naturel fortified wine casks. Bottled at 50% ABV without colouring, chill-filtration or any additives; totally natural.
  16. Teeling 30 year old Vintage Reserve

    Distilled in Dublin.

    The 30-year old single malt was distilled in 1987 and initially matured in ex-bourbon asks for 25 years before being given an additional 5 years maturation in ex-white Burgundy oak casks. Each of the 500 bottles were hand bottled in unique decanter bottles an come in a wooden gift box with their own certificate of authenticity.

    Jack Teeling, Founder of Teeling Whiskey, commented: "This very limited release of 30 year-old Irish single malt is a one of a kind, due to the French white wine influence that transforms this whiskey into something truly special. There is nothing else like this on the market."

    Nose: Tropical fruits and wood notes.

    Taste: Light and fresh, well balanced sweetness blends into notes of vanilla, sandalwood, all spice and orchard fruits.

    Finish: Deep and inviting as the spice comes back then goes away again. With age comes grace and this whiskey can prove it.

  17. Redbreast 15 Year-Old Single Pot Still

    Meant to be only a one-off release, Redbreast 15yo is now one of the very top end whiskeys of Redbreast range- a truly devine Irish whiskey.

    Released in small batches, this whiskey is well balanced, strong, bold. Complex on the palate with dried fruits notes, orange peel and exotic fruit hints.

    Beautiful finish of vanilla and oak.

  18. Teeling Revival Vol II Calvados Cask 13 Year Old

    The Teeling Family have been making whiskey since 1782 in their distillery on Marrowbone Lane in the Liberties, Dublin. Several generations later, Teeling opened their brand new distillery in 2015 where Jackk and Stephen are the newest generation who are carrying on the family legacy. This whiskey is the 2nd in the series to commemorate that 'Revival'. Single malt, 46%. Fresh and lively, unmistakably Irish in character. Ripe fruits such as pineapple, white grapes, aprictos, pears and melon. A touch of vanilla, honey and, of course, a slight apple aroma. Powerful and light in body. At full strength there is a slight pepperiness and lots of fruit. Flavours of apricots, peach, pear, vanilla, honey and musat grapes. Some dryer oak and spice notes towards the finish.

    The Teeling Family have been making whiskey since 1782 in their distillery on Marrowbone Lane in the Liberties, Dublin. Several generations later, Teeling opened their brand new distillery in 2015 where Jackk and Stephen are the newest generation who are carrying on the family legacy. This whiskey is the 2nd in the series to commemorate that 'Revival'. Single malt, 46%. Aromas of lemon cake, apricot, pineapple, vanilla, honey and white grapes. Soft and fruity without any harsh oakiness. Intensely fruity and refreshing with flavours of pineapple, white grapes, apricot, lemon and honey. The finish becomes just a little oaky with some subtle spice.
