Description
This Classified 3rd Growth from Margaux, Chateau Giscours is produced on a 95 hectare vineyard. Giscours 2016 is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot. These grape varieties, experienced a very successful vintage with remarkable qualities. Chateau Giscours 2016 is very dark, almost ink-like. The nose reveals concentrated aromas of black fruits, but is still quite shy. In the mouth, the wine is dense and ample, with weight from the tannins. The wine is straightforward and elegant, with contained power. A wine in the style of Cabernet Sauvignon is classy and remarkably precise.Details
