  1. Domaine des Bernardins, Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, Vin Doux Naturel - Half Bottle

The colour shows hints of amber and weathered gold. Intense and complex nose with cooked, preserved fruit aromas lifted by citrus notes. Powerful yet balanced on the palate developing prevailing white peach, pear and apricot flavours.
  2. Domaine de Monspey, Moulin a Vent

Dark ruby colour. Partially aged in oak giving complexity and spice to the ripe cherry fruit flavours and aroma. The palate is followed by powerful but silky tannins.
  3. Domaine Potel Aviron, Fleurie

This Cru Beaujolais shows great concentration of fruit both on the nose and the palate. Aromas of black cherries, pepper and a toch of smoke. The palate is jammy with plenty of ripe red fruit flavours and refreshing acidity.
  4. Château Arnaud, Saint-Estãphe 2012

Château Arnaud is a solid, rounded wine, aged in oak barrels in a state of the art underground cellar, which keeps the temperature and humidity at a perfect level. The wine has complex aromas of grilled spices, red and dark fruits and delicate tannins.
  5. Château Langoa Barton, Saint-Julien 2007

A blend of 77.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 7.5% Cabernet Franc. This has a ripe blackberry, violet tinged nose that is perhaps lacking the clarity and vigour that it often shows at this stage. A touch of seashells become apparent in the glass. The palate is full-bodied, quite sinewy comparative to other Saint Juliens with good concentration and purity of fruit with no signs of under-ripeness. The Langoa 2007 has a persistent finish with good depth and focus with blackberry and cedar to the fore. Very fine, as usual. Tasted April 2008 Score: 90/91 Neal Martin, RobertParker.com, April 2008
  6. Château Reynier Bordeaux, Cuvée Heritage

Red berry fruit aromas with a touch of oak. Well balanced with round tannins. Excellent wine, excellent value
  7. Château Reynier, Bordeaux Rouge

A classic medium-bodied red from Bordeaux with good bit of ripe black berry fruit, well balanced acidity and subtle oakiness.
  8. Parize Pere & Fils, 'Champ Nalot', Givry 1er Cru

A great Pinot Noir! Very expressive nose of dark cherry, plum and red berries. The palate is light, yet fruit driven with plenty of strawberry and liquorice.
  9. Lor du Sud, Cabernet Sauvignon

Well balanced cabernet sauvignon full of blackberries, blackcurrants, and a touch of spice.
  10. Clos de Caveau, Vacqueyras

Impressively perfumed nose offers a suave bouquet of red berries, garrigue, anise and fruit cake. Opulent, sweet, expansive and mouth-filling, the lush red berry fruit builds in intensity before coating the entire palate. These flavours are enlivened by baking spices, herbs and gentle tannins.
  11. Domaine Cuilleron, Côte-Rôtie - Madiniere

Very elegant and silky smooth Syrah showing plenty of ripe red berry and black cherry fruit and some fine black pepper spice.
  12. Domaine Cuilleron, Saint Joseph

A fresh, precise, fruity nose. Subtle and taut on the palate, and bursting with lovely fruit. Mild, subtle tannins.
  13. Domaine Bosquet, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge

Purple red in colour with some shiny highlights. On the nose, this Châteauneuf du Pape displays aromas of small red berries. It has a sweeping silky smooth mouth feel, a classic southern Rhône spicyness of ground pepper, garrigue, cherry liqueur, plums, and cedar with sweet, expansive, and pure fruit flavours and excellent delineation.
  14. Château de Puichéric, Minervois

Superb dark garnet colour adorned with a few dark orange reflections. Intense nose of ripe fruits, spices and roasted coffee. Round and full mouth, well matured tannins and vanilla.
  15. Château Haut Gleon, Corbières

This is a fantastic and complex Corbieres expressing notes of blackberry, pepper, leather, tobacco, and blackcurrants.
  16. Château Saint Roch Chimeres, Côtes du Roussillon

Pretty dark garnet colour. The nose is complex and powerful. Full-bodied with well expressed tannins. Ripe red fruit with notes of cherrie. Nice balance, concentration and length
  17. Les Vignobles Foncalieu, 'Apogée', Saint-Chinian 2011

  18. Les Vignobles Foncalieu, 'Illustres', Côteaux d'Enserune

Deep red colour with a dark purple shade. Nose of black berry fruit with tapenade (olive and anchovy paste); a touch of balsam introduces superb complexity and a light, elegant freshness. Soft and elegant mouth, the palate develops aromas of violets and plums with a delicate note of balsam. A wine which is long and refined, powerful and complex with soft, velvety tannins.
  19. Château Du Cedre Heritage, Cahors

Predominantly Malbec with just a drop of Merlot, this organic red offers fantastic value for money! Full of dark fruits (blackberries and blueberries) with silky smooth tannins and a touch of earthiness to the finish.
  20. Château Du Cedre, Cahors

This well structured organic Malbec is as good as they get! Complex, with layers of flavours; Black fruit is beautifully merried up with oaky notes (cedar wood, leather). Slightly grippy tannins will soften given a few years of ageing.
