  1. Domaine des Bernardins, Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, Vin Doux Naturel - Half Bottle

The colour shows hints of amber and weathered gold. Intense and complex nose with cooked, preserved fruit aromas lifted by citrus notes. Powerful yet balanced on the palate developing prevailing white peach, pear and apricot flavours.
  2. Domaine de Monspey, Brouilly

Violets and black fruits on nose. Expressive palate and good concentration of fruits and great depth of flavour. Lovely grid with fresh finish and well balanced
  3. Domaine de Monspey, Moulin a Vent

Dark ruby colour. Partially aged in oak giving complexity and spice to the ripe cherry fruit flavours and aroma. The palate is followed by powerful but silky tannins.
  4. Domaine Potel Aviron, Beaujolais Village

Perfect summer red! Light, fruity, fresh and easy drinking with lots of sweet red berry flavours.
  5. Domaine Potel Aviron, Fleurie

This Cru Beaujolais shows great concentration of fruit both on the nose and the palate. Aromas of black cherries, pepper and a toch of smoke. The palate is jammy with plenty of ripe red fruit flavours and refreshing acidity.
  6. Château Arnaud, Saint-Estãphe 2012

Château Arnaud is a solid, rounded wine, aged in oak barrels in a state of the art underground cellar, which keeps the temperature and humidity at a perfect level. The wine has complex aromas of grilled spices, red and dark fruits and delicate tannins.
  7. Château Langoa Barton, Saint-Julien 2007

A blend of 77.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 7.5% Cabernet Franc. This has a ripe blackberry, violet tinged nose that is perhaps lacking the clarity and vigour that it often shows at this stage. A touch of seashells become apparent in the glass. The palate is full-bodied, quite sinewy comparative to other Saint Juliens with good concentration and purity of fruit with no signs of under-ripeness. The Langoa 2007 has a persistent finish with good depth and focus with blackberry and cedar to the fore. Very fine, as usual. Tasted April 2008 Score: 90/91 Neal Martin, RobertParker.com, April 2008
  8. Château Lyonnat, Lussac-Saint-Emilion

Deep ruby colour. Nose of spice cake, liquorice and red fruit. The palate is powerful and smooth, with very elegant and blended tannins.
  9. Château Reynier Bordeaux, Cuvée Heritage

Red berry fruit aromas with a touch of oak. Well balanced with round tannins. Excellent wine, excellent value
  10. Domaine Regnaudot, Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Juicy black cherries and red berries great the nose. The palate is medium, restrained and well structured with dry, savoury finish. A classic Bourgogne.
  11. Parize Pere & Fils, 'Champ Nalot', Givry 1er Cru

A great Pinot Noir! Very expressive nose of dark cherry, plum and red berries. The palate is light, yet fruit driven with plenty of strawberry and liquorice.
  12. Bernard Reverdy & Fils, Sancerre Rouge

Made from the Pinot Noir, is delightfully fruity and delicate. A short pre-fermentation maceration, followed by a thermo-regulated fermentation in vat, gives it its elegant red berry and black fruits aromas with well rounded tannins and supple structure. A year's ageing in "demi-muid" (600 litres) barrels contributes to this wine's smoothness when it comes to drinking time.
  13. Clos de Caveau, Vacqueyras

Impressively perfumed nose offers a suave bouquet of red berries, garrigue, anise and fruit cake. Opulent, sweet, expansive and mouth-filling, the lush red berry fruit builds in intensity before coating the entire palate. These flavours are enlivened by baking spices, herbs and gentle tannins.
  14. Domaine Bassenon, Côte-Rôtie

Very elegant and silky smooth Syrah showing plenty of ripe red berry and black cherry fruit and some fine black pepper spice.
  15. Domaine Cuilleron, Saint Joseph

A fresh, precise, fruity nose. Subtle and taut on the palate, and bursting with lovely fruit. Mild, subtle tannins.
  16. Famille Perrin, Coudoulet de Beaucastel, Côtes-du-Rhône 2014

Complex and perfumed, with a nose of earthy black fruits, liquorice and roasted meats. Smooth and ripe with flavours of berries, plum and spice. It is lush and juicy and is another excellent wine from the Perrin Family. It possesses sweet tannin, medium to full-bodied richness and a great finish.
  17. Domaine Bosquet, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge

Purple red in colour with some shiny highlights. On the nose, this Châteauneuf du Pape displays aromas of small red berries. It has a sweeping silky smooth mouth feel, a classic southern Rhône spicyness of ground pepper, garrigue, cherry liqueur, plums, and cedar with sweet, expansive, and pure fruit flavours and excellent delineation.
  18. Château Haut Gleon, Corbières

This is a fantastic and complex corbières expressing notes of blackberry, pepper, leather, tobacco, and blackcurrants.
  19. Château Serres Saint Lucie, Corbières

Packed with stewed red and black berry fruit and with a hint of spice, this is one of our best selling southern French reds. Soft and fruit driven. Fantastic value red.
  20. La Chapelle de Bébian, Côteaux du Languedoc

A very mediterranean nose of black fruits, fennel and rosemary. An explosion of blackberry and blackcurrant backboned by firm, elegant tannins.
