  • glendalough-double-barrel-whiskey
    Wicklow, Ireland
Single grain whiskey aged in first fill Bourbon Casks, then Oloroso Sherry casks before being cut with fresh, cool Wicklow mountain water. The nose is slight but undoubtedly rich with dark fruit; cherry, raisin, fig along with floral lemongrass and a touch of nutmeg. The taste is sweet and creamy on the palate, with butterscotch, honey and peppercorn bringing along sweet Bourbon Cask notes with dried fruit returning through notes of maraschino cherries and a pinch of brown sugar. The finish has lingering notes of ginger spices with a faint glimmer of almond to end a complex Irish Whiskey from start to finish.

  • Teeling Centenary Collection 2015
    Dublin, Ireland
The Teeling Family have been making whiskey since 1782 and in 2015 the legacy was carried forward with the Teeling brothers Jack & Stephen, opening up a distillery in the Liberties. One cask of 250 bottles will be released each year from 2014-2018 and this is the inaugural release from March 2015. • Celtic Nations Celtic Blended Malt
    Ireland
An historical curio, this - created by Bruichladdich in partnership with Ireland's Cooley Distillery, Celtic Nations is a one-off experimental multinational vatted malt, a blend of single malts from both distilleries. Sadly for all concerned, the SWA (Scottish Whiskey Association) quickly took the hump and banned the use of Celtic Malt; making this a very rare, one off release.
